Ceramic Pouring Vessel, 480 ml
White, transparent Shiny Glaze
Industrially produced using a plaster mold
The inspiration for this piece came from vessels used for pouring oil in Buddhist ceremonies.
Whereas traditional Buddhist vessels are made of gold or silver and are heavily decorated, this vessel is made of natural uncolored white clay and bears no decorations or religious symbols.
Despite the lack of religious symbols of any kind, the vessel imparts a ceremonious ambiance, due to the feelings evoked by nestling the uniquely designed vessel in one’s palms.
Measurements: 9 x 19 cm, suited to fit in the palm of the hand
